All cosmetic tattooing procedures utilize minute particles of natural and synthetic iron-oxide color pigments, and are implanted a little more than 1mm to 2mm below the skin's surface (depending upon the area), using a hand-piece which holds a disposable, single-use cartridge type sterile needle or needle grouping, allowing no chance of cross-contamination.
