What describes normal? For Nancey, it is her walking stick. That means doors get held open and handicap parking spaces mean, handy. In the summer months normal means her surgery scars may show a bit more but that’s okay. Because what normal really means, in her opinion, is a desire to help others who, when afflictions have overwhelmed, don’t know where to turn.
Launching Color Beyond, Inc., in 2008, alongside her career as a grand master nail artist marked a milestone. "Reaching out to accommodate those whose needs surpass the
normal spa and salon menu is what beauty is meant to be,” she says.
Each member of our board has, either through the routine of daily work or by personal involvement in civic activities for the general good of his or her community, a strong commitment for advancing the wellness of life for those less fortunate. Impacting the lives of those in need so that those persons may be restored in dignity and self esteem is our concern.
We are diverse in occupation, locale, life achievements and ways of helping others, but have as our belief a unified desire to improve the emotional and physical circumstances occasioned in life by those we seek to serve.
We accept any contribution - whatever its size - to continue our non-profit services.
